My name Is Brandon Bate and I am completing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at TWU. I have a passion for providing warm, empathetic counsel, and believe it can bring wonderful changes to people’s lives. We all experience dark seasons and difficult trials, and it takes a lot of courage to reach out for help when you need it. If you choose to take that step, it is my hope that you feel welcomed, valued, accepted, and seen.
I believe in using a client-centered approach in therapy. I trust that you are the expert of your own life, and I will work to come alongside you as we try to figure out where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you want to go. My hope is that we can connect authentically in a way that gives you permission to be your true self. Using an Existential lens and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques, we will work to uncover your unique experience of life and what makes it meaningful. It is my hope that the connection you find will bring healing from the past and give you hope for the future.
I enjoy cycling with my wife, traveling the beautiful province of BC, kayaking, whale watching, hanging with friends, and watching NFL football.
