Public Health Nurse

Biography

I am a graduate of the School of Nursing TWU in 2000. I currently live in Langley BC with my three boys and husband and attend North Langley Community Church. In addition to working in the Wellness Centre at TWU, I work part time as a public health nurse. I have a busy home life as a mother of three boys. I played a lot of sports growing up, but my passion is being a back catcher playing competitive women's fastball and track and field. I love sports, travelling and photography. I also love to bless people by making beautiful flower bouquets as a little side business/hobby. I have volunteered on the North Langley Baseball Association for many years in different roles. My nursing career began at Royal Columbian Hospital where I worked in acute orthopedic trauma and neurosurgery for 7 years. After taking her Perinatal Specialty at BCIT, I made a change into public health in 2007 where I’ve enjoyed caring for mothers and babies from the prenatal period through childhood. I also attend North Langley Community Church.
