Jef Gibbons

Professor of Digital Recording and Composition
I believe that good education is a relational thing. Students respond to information when they feel personally invested in it, and my job as an educator is to figure out how a new skill will benefit them the most.

Jef Gibbons has been teaching part-time at TWU for over 20 years. He started fresh out as a fresh TWU grad and has been teaching Digital Recording and composition ever since. Jef has been involved in music and sound for numerous movie soundtracks and games over the years. He also spent 10 years helping develop the music for a world-wide ESL children’s program. Jef is also a photographer and videographer. Jef has recently branched into Youtube where he has grown a very large following of like-minded musicians.
