Jennifer joined the SAMC team in 2012 as the Theatre Department’s Production Manager/Technical Director. She has helped the faculty and students mount memorable productions such as the New Generations play festival, Emma, You Never Can Tell, Crimes of the Heart, and Much Ado About Nothing.
Jennifer comes from a technical theatre background, inspired by her parents’ love of theatre. Before she was 20, she had already worked as a stage manager on numerous productions ranging from amateur and school shows to semi-professional. As one of seven students accepted into the National Theatre School of Canada’s Technical Production program, Jennifer honed her stage management skills alongside lighting, production management, and technical directing. Since 2002, Jennifer has stage managed and assistant stage managed professionally for theatre companies across Canada.
In 2008, Jennifer received her degree in Dramatic Art at the University of Windsor. She plans to continue her studies at the University of Alberta in the MFA Production Management program.
