Biography

Maryann Tjart Jantzen completed her B.A. honours at Trinity Western University and her M.A. at Simon Fraser University. She divides her time between teaching courses in the English Department and directing the TWU Writing Centre. Her research interests include composition studies, contemporary Canadian literature (especially Mennonite authors) and nature writing. She has presented and published on Mennonite Canadian writers and has co-edited several books related to Canadian Mennonite literature and history. Maryann is currently the editor of Roots and Branches, the quarterly journal of the Mennonite Historical Society of British Columbia.
