Education:  BA Political Science from Trinity Western University

Favourite restaurant: Chipotle

Favourite local activity: Cycling in Fort Langley.

Best thing about TWU: It’s incredible that our professors care so much about our students and their perspectives. They invite differing opinions and meet students where they are at, while bringing their knowledge and expertise to enhance students’ learning. This stands in stark contrast to other universities I have experienced, at which professors expect students to think the same way they do.

Advice for my students: Take advantage of all the resources and opportunities available to you! For example: Professors, the Learning Commons, and the Wellness Centre, give you access to professionals who can enrich your academic experience and your life.  Make sure to get involved with student leadership and outreach as well – this is one of the best ways to make friends and to have a valuable learning experience while making a difference in the community.
