Rebecca Ann K Straforelli, MA

Sessional Assistant Professor of Leadership

I love ideas.  My passion in teaching is helping students make connections between new ideas and life.

Rebecca has had the privilege of living in all four western provinces of Canada.  She claims she is a prairie girl at heart, but her home is now the west coast of British Columbia.  She graduated from a Winnipeg high school, moved to Edmonton to attend two years of Bible College and then attended the University of Alberta where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994.  She moved to Langley, British Columbia and started her first career as a Public Health Nurse in Surrey. In 2014, she completed her MA in Leadership at Trinity Western University.  Along with her nursing experience, she has led the women’s ministry at her church, led short-term mission’s teams and most recently, worked in a mission’s organization as a Wellness Specialist for their global workers and their families.

Rebecca started teaching in the International Degree Completion program with TWU GLOBAL in June of 2020.  She is energized by the opportunity to live out her purpose to bring honour to the name of Christ in her relationships with others through teaching.
