Whitney first came to Trinity Western University in 2008 as a student, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Psychology and Human Services. She later returned to TWU in 2017 to come aboard as a Resident Director in the Student Life department. In between, she completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology, knowing that she eventually wanted to work with people in a way that leads them into a deeper understanding of themselves and the challenges they face.

Since moving from Ontario to BC, Whitney has come to love what the west coast has to offer. She spends most of her weekends hiking and camping in the mountains, following the call of adventure! She also works part-time as a Clinical Counsellor and has enjoyed seeing the ways her training as a counsellor enables her to support and encourage students in their growth.
