Details:

Noted Mennonite author Connie Braun will read select portions from her recent book, Silentium, followed by a brief response from Dr. Steven Schroeder, historian and Chair of the Peace and Conflict Studies program at the University of the Fraser Valley. A historical memoir of her mother's migration story, Braun's beautiful prose transports the reader from Poland's Vistula Delta during WWII to the Fraser Valley, weaving a narrative that informs and inspires.

The evening will include a time for questions and discussion with the presenters and books will be available for purchase.
