Danny Foster is the current president of the Canadian Institute of Linguistics. He has experiences in many fields related to; policy issues related to minority languages, educational development, capability approach, critical discourse studies, language of instruction, multilingual education and global language development. He has an impressive background in education and experience in these fields. As an Current PhD Candidate: Education, University of Bristol, U.K., Masters of Applied Linguistics and Exegesis, Trinity Western University – ACTS Seminary. Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language Certificate, Trinity Western University, and a Bachelor of Theology, Master’s College and Seminary. Danny Foster has hands on experience as the Director of Training and Development in Uganda as well as instructional experience on campus’.
