“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…”
From the first words of Genesis to the last words of Revelation, it is clear that God’s heart is for the whole world. When we one day approach the throne in worship, it will assuredly be a multicultural experience. Yet how can they worship the One of whom they have not heard?
Missions Week offers the TWU community a variety of ways to engage with the world of Global Missions in their local context. During Missions Week, we seek to encourage the campus to personally consider the call of following Jesus to the ends of the earth by leaving what they know as comfortable for unknown lands, language, and cultures. The week consists of a number of events and activities including, but not limited to, daily missions focused chapels, a global missions focused prayer night, and the active presence of missionaries and mission agency representatives on campus.
Meditate: On God’s calling over your life.
Learn: From missionaries around the world.
Pray: For the Nations.
Celebrate: The expansion of God’s Kingdom across the earth.
