About Awana: "Each week, more than 1.5 million kids ages 2 to 18 participate in Awana. Over 12,000 churches in the U.S. and nearly 13,000 internationally run Awana programs that change young lives through biblical truth." At TWU, students volunteer with the Awana program coordinated by Fort Langley Evangelical Free Church. The program invites children from age 2 to Middle School to participate. Each week the volunteers build relationships with the kids through bible stories, memory verses, singing, crafts, games and conversations.

When & Where: This outreach is only minutes from the TWU campus. It is a great way to not only spur children on to spiritual maturity in Jesus Christ, but encourage your own faith to grow as well. Awana takes place on Thursdays at 5:30pm.
