About Students for Life: We live in a society that increasingly dehumanizes certain types of people. The unborn, infirm, elderly, and mentally disabled are constantly having the value of their existence questioned. Students for Life seeks to address these questions, educating and raising awareness surrounding abortion and sanctity of life issues, and resoundingly proclaiming that every human life is important, no matter its’ circumstances. The group meets each week to discuss these issues, and holds a wide variety of events, from public dialogues surrounding abortion-related issues, to academic debates, to fundraisers for local crisis-pregnancy centres on the frontlines of trying to support women with unwanted pregnancies and the babies they’re carrying. The heart of the ministry is to provide a compassionate response to an extremely complex issue, and continually reaffirm the inherent value of all life.
