Here at TWU, we understand the importance of good beginnings.

For that reason, our new-student orientation is more than just confirming your classes and simply moving into your dormitory room. Instead, orientation at Trinity Western is called “O-Week,” held every fall and spring to provide new students with many opportunities to make friends, learn about the resources and opportunities available to you as a TWU student, and to prepare you academically so you start classes feeling ready for the semester.

Come join us for O-Week

  • Move into your residence or sign up to be a member at one of our commuter collegia
  • Discover where you can get involved at TWU – clubs, ministries, travel studies and more!
  • Meet other new first year and transfer students through your daily Foundations Groups

Foundations GROUPS

During O-Week, Foundation Groups will help you to meet and get to know a small group of your peers. Every new TWU student will be registered for FNDN 101.  The course is specifically designed to help every incoming student have a successful academic and personal beginning to their academic career. Transfer students with fewer than 27 credits will meet with their FNDN 101 Foundation Groups, which will meet weekly throughout the first semester.
