On the Langley campus, the Wellness Center is open for mental health services following health and safety guidelines. Initial counselling appointments provided online and limited amounts of face-to-face counselling appointments will be available on a case by case basis. Any in-person appointments will be following health and safety guidelines.
Our innovative mental health area, The Well, at our Langley campus, is closed due to the highly tactile nature of many of the features.
Richmond is offering ongoing bilingual counselling support for students, faculty and staff provided in partnership with the Masters Counselling Psychology team. Wellness Services Richmond appointments will continue to be online (in-person only when absolutely necessary for client care).
Online counselling appointments is available to all residents in Canada with the exception of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick at this time. We hope to expand the geographical reach of our counselling offerings as much as possible in the future.

Initial appointments are done online and if deemed appropriate an in-person appointment will be arranged. Any in-person appointments will be following health and safety guidelines.
To provide extra support during this time we have additional nurses on staff and the Wellness Center is also offering blood work and immunizations on campus. If a student is suspected of having COVID-19 they will have a specialized and streamlined virtual visit and then will be sent to a local testing site in Langley. This helps to ensure that the Wellness Center is kept safe and that the student receives efficient response and care.
