The Worship Arts major has three distinct parts: a Worship Arts core (30 s.h.), Religious Studies courses (9 s.h.) and a Praxis area (21 s.h.). The minor has two distinct parts: a Worship Arts core (18 s.h.) and a Praxis area (6 s.h.).

The Worship Arts core includes courses in worship theology, history, and contemporary issues, and a practicum placement in a local church worship ministry. To complement their core studies, students choose a Worship Arts track, which involves theoretical and practical study in Art, Media + Communications, Music, or Theatre.  It is also possible to assemble an interdisciplinary track that provides broad exposure to the arts.
