 | SPARTANS LOOK FOR PLAY-OFF PUSH DOWN THE STRETCH Women's Basketball - date: Feb. 1st, 2012 LANGLEY, British Columbia – This weekend the Trinity Western Spartans return home after a successful three week road trip, which saw the Spartans win four of five games. The Spartans are looking to earn a first ever play-off hosting spot as they to host the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack. Three wins in their final three home games will give the Spartans second place in the Pacific Division. It all starts with Friday’s game, which tips off at 6 p.m., while Saturday’s is set for 5 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on Canadawest.TV.  | SPARTANS TRIPLE HEADER WEEKEND Outside the lines - date: Jan. 31st, 2012 LANGLEY, British Columbia – This week the Spartans put it all on the line as the post season approaches for all the active teams. The Spartans men’s and women’s basketball teams are back on home court after three weeks on the road. Spartans hockey is also playing at the Langley Events Centre in a pair of games against as many opponents. In volleyball action the Spartans will travel to Calgary to compete against the Dinos in two matches. Finally the Spartan track and field team will continue their tour with the Bison Invitational at Manitoba. |
 | CIS TOP 10 TUESDAY (#18) Men’s volleyball remains No. 1, Women’s volleyball moves up to No. 2 Outside the lines - date: Jan. 31st, 2012 LANGLEY, British Columbia – After a weekend sweep on the road of No. 6, the Trinity Western women’s volleyball team continued to move up the CIS Top 10, coming in at a season-high No. 2 this week, while the Spartans men’s team remained No. 1 after a weekend split with No. 2 Manitoba. Trinity Western’s basketball, swimming and track and field teams remained unranked. |
