Executive Pay: Is it too high and should we care?

While the occupy movement likes to associate North America’s income distribution problems with what they feel is excessive executive compensation, the two have almost nothing to do with one another. Is executive pay a red herring? Executive compensation expert, Ken Huggesen, demystifies this issue and more at the TWU School of Business Speaker Series “Executive Pay: Is it Too High and Should We Care?"

This second TWU Speaker Series event, presented by Great West Life, will be held at the Terminal City Club in Vancouver on Thursday, January 24, 2013.

Ken Hugessen, an expert in executive compensation, has over 30 years experience advising clients on executive pay and is CEO of Hugessen Consulting, with offices in Toronto and Calgary. The firm is the trusted advisor to many of Canada’s leading companies, including one-fifth of the TSX 60, and large pension funds in Canada, the US, and the UK. It is the only firm exclusively committed to serving boards and their compensation committees
