Wai-Yip Ho received his MA in Islamic Studies at Institute of Arab & Islamic Studies, University of Exeter, and MA as well as PhD of Social Science at Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. He held several research fellowship appointments, including Fellow at Joint Centre for Advanced Studies, University of Göttingen; François Chevalier Fellow at Madrid Institute for Advanced Study; Fellow at Institut d’études avancées de Nantes; External Senior Fellow (Marie S. Curie FCFP) at Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies; Endeavour Research Fellow at Australian National University; Visiting Fellow at Global Migration Centre, The Graduate Institute, Geneva (IHEID), etc.
