Graduate Studies Orientation

Welcome, new TWU Graduate students!

We want to ensure you get off to a great start with your studies, and attending orientation sessions is a fantastic way to discover the various resources available to you, both in terms of academics and personal wellness. There are many individuals and departments at TWU ready to help you make a smooth transition to your master's program. These sessions cover topics such as:

  • Academic & Learning Resources - Library, Learning Commons, Graduate Writing Coaches, Office of Graduate Studies
  • Campus Life & Community - Graduate Student Collegium, Campus Ministries, Grad Student Association
  • Health & Wellness - Wellness Centre, Gym
  • Career & Experience - Center for Calling and Career Development (CCCD)

TWU New Graduate Student Pre-Orientation

TWU New Graduate Student Free Welcome Dinner & Resource Fair

All incoming new graduate students are welcome to attend to attend a free Welcome Dinner and Resource Fair. At this event, you will be able to talk with representatives from various areas from across campus that specifically support Graduate Students.

Langley campus

All incoming new graduate students at the TWU Langley campus for the Summer 2024 term are invited to attend a free Welcome Fair on Wednesday, May 15th, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. PDT. At this event, you will be able to talk with representatives from various areas from across campus that specifically support Graduate Students, as well as outside vendors (eg. Service Canada, to get your Social Insurance Number, local banks, etc.) Light refreshments will be served. Please watch your @mytwu email inbox for the registration link.

Richmond Campus

All incoming new graduate students at the TWU Richmond campus for the Summer 2024 term are invited to attend a free Welcome Fair on Thursday, May 2nd, from 1-3 p.m. PDT. At this event, you can speak with TWU staff & departments dedicated to supporting Graduate Students, as well as outside vendors (eg. Service Canada, to get your Social Insurance Number, local banks, etc.) Light refreshments will be served. Please watch your @mytwu email inbox for the registration link.
