Scholarships, Grants, and Awards
Entrance and merit-based scholarships are administered by the graduate program, and typically awarded upon admission to the program.
Especially meaningful, endowment awards are established by donors who deeply care about TWU and its students. Students must apply in order to be considered for an endowment award. Selection is based on a student’s match with the award criteria.

How to Apply
As most endowment awards are reserved for students with financial need, the Financial Need Assessment must be submitted in order to apply for endowment awards. Students may select up to three awards for consideration. Students apply through the Financial Aid & Awards portal.
Application Deadline
TEDS students: April 30
Graduate Studies students: June 1
Tri-agency, Government and external awards are funded through private, provincial or federal sources. For information regarding Tri-agency scholarships, please contact the Office of Research.
