Student Media Associations

TWU Student Media is affiliated with Associated Collegiate Press (ACP), a U.S. based association of university and college student newspapers. This organization holds regular national and regional conferences for student media and hosts student newspaper and yearbook competitions. It is a division of the National Scholastic Press Association

TWU's newspaper, Mars' Hill, is a member of the Canadian University Press (CUP), a national student-run association since 1938 that provides annual learning conferences on a national, regional and local basis. Students also participate in a listserv to assist one another in the operation of their newspapers. Another unique aspect of CUP is its national student wire service in which member newspapers share stories across the country.
