Steps for Transferring to TWU
Obtain a copy of your unofficial post-secondary transcript(s): Unofficial transcripts are often available for free on your current/previous institution of study's student portal. The Registrar's Office may also be a helpful resource.
Complete your application in the Application Portal.
Upload your unofficial transcripts into the TWU application portal: Both post-secondary and high school transcripts may be required for admissions purposes.
Expect a call or email from us. Our admissions team will contact you to discuss your transfer credit and next steps in the admissions process within a week of your completed application. Syllabi may be required to evaluate specific courses you’ve taken.
Transfer Admission Requirements
Students transferring in with 27 or more credits will be admitted solely based on their post-secondary work. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 is required for admission. For students transferring in with fewer than 27 credits, admission will be based on high school work as well, and you will need to meet the high school student admission requirements for your province/state. Once we receive your application and transcripts, we should be able to give you an admission decision within two weeks. You will also be automatically considered for an Academic Scholarship.
