Graduate Studies Orientation
Welcome, new TWU Graduate students!
We want to ensure you get off to a great start with your studies, and attending orientation sessions is a fantastic way to discover the various resources available to you, both in terms of academics and personal wellness. There are many individuals and departments at TWU ready to help you make a smooth transition to your master's program. These sessions cover topics such as:
- Academic & Learning Resources – Library, Learning Commons, Graduate Writing Coaches, Office of Graduate Studies
- Campus Life & Community – Graduate Student Collegium, Campus Ministries, Grad Student Association
- Health & Wellness – Wellness Centre, Gym
- Career & Experience – Center for Calling & Career Development (CCCD)

New Graduate Student Pre-Orientation
The Spring 2026 Graduate Pre-Arrival Orientation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 9–10:30 a.m. PST. New students should check their TWU emails for more details.
Graduate Student Orientation Course
The Graduate Student Orientation course at Trinity Western University equips incoming graduate students with essential information and resources to transition into academic and campus life. Students explore the university’s history, values, and community, gaining familiarity with academic policies and procedures. They also learn about Canadian culture, including social norms, intercultural programs, and community events to adapt and integrate into Canadian society. The course covers spiritual growth opportunities, academic success strategies, and maintaining well-being. Practical matters like financial matters, housing options, and campus services support students’ academic and personal success. By the end of the orientation, students are equipped to navigate and excel in their graduate program at Trinity Western University.
New Graduate Student Welcome Fair
All new incoming graduate students are welcome to attend our free Welcome Fairs. At this event, you will be able to talk with representatives from various areas from across campus that specifically support Graduate Students, as well as outside vendors such as local banks, cell phone providers, Service Canada, and many more: Students who start their studies in the summer are encouraged to attend the Fall semester welcome fair.
