Robert Kiesman, JD
After spending over a decade as a deep sea commercial fisherman in northern BC, Robert is now a private business owner and corporate lawyer who specialized in securities law, corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions for eight years at Stikeman Elliott LLP in Vancouver. He has served as board chairman of the Steveston Harbour Authority since 2014, and until 2021, served as the Vice Chair of the board and Chair of the Governance Committee of the Provincial Health Services Authority, a public health authority with an annual budget of over $4 billion. Robert previously served on the Environmental Advisory Committee at the Vancouver Airport Authority, and as the co-owner and Chief Legal Officer of Vancouver Corporate Solutions, he is an experienced director and/or officer of a number of public companies, including Skeena Gold + Silver (NYSE:SKE) and Beyond Oil (TSX:BOIL). Robert is a member of the Anglican Church and lives in Steveston Village with his wife, Marcy, and their three daughters.
