Welcome to Academic Advising!
We are here to help you select the right courses at the right time so that you achieve your academic goals. For the most part, we do that through an army of Faculty Advisors! We have trained over 140 Advisors to provide academic advising support to over 2200 undergraduate students in our regular programs. Our Faculty Advisors are here to get you the information you need to make informed choices.
In the Learning Commons, we work with over 200 student advisees assigned to us based on their specific needs.
We look forward to meeting you!
IMPORTANT: Pre-registering for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 Courses? Our processes have changed.
1st and 2nd year students: During Academic Advising Week (March 11-15), you MUST get Advisor Clearance BEFORE you can pre-register.
3rd and 4th year students: Although Advisor Clearance is not required, you're strongly encouraged to meet with your advisor for course selection and program planning.
The Academic Advising Office assists students as they explore academic programs and services, choose a major, and select courses. Partnering with faculty advisors across campus, we engage students in developing a plan to realize their educational and career goals.
