Join us as we recognize the importance, impact, and contributions of women on a local, national, and global scale.
International Women's Day (March 8) at TWU is an opportunity to affirm, celebrate, and recognize the unique callings and contributions of women in the kingdom of God.
We are excited to share with you these events and opportunities to celebrate and acknowledge the rich and diverse stories of women and their contributions to our society. We invite all students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to join in learning and celebrating International Women's Day and women's history throughout the month of March.

Donation Drive

We’re hosting a donation drive from March 2-6 to support a local women’s recovery centre. Join us in solidarity by giving essential items that promote care, dignity, and healing for women in recovery. Please see below for details.

In the year since its opening, Cedar Haven has become a place of healing, hope, and new beginnings. Women in vulnerable situations can enter programming and meet with counsellors, participate in group recovery, and get the opportunity to rest and rebuild their lives. Please join us in contributing items that will offer hope and make a difference in women's lives.

Donations will be accepted at the Office of Inclusive Excellence table in the Reimer Student Centre Lobby. Collection boxes will also be set up in the Norma Marion Alloway Library and the SAMC art studio in the Robert N. Thompson Centre.
