Registration Process

The Centre for Accessible Learning is the central contact point for students with a disability at TWU. The Centre also works with students at post-secondary institutions directly affiliated with TWU who are taking TWU courses.

Students with a disability who would like to determine their eligibility for academic accommodations can follow this process to register with the Centre:

  • Locate current documentation of your disability from a provider who is qualified to diagnose the disability.
  • Submit the Centre for Accessible Learning Summary of Academic Impact and documentation of your disability.
  • After receiving your information, our office will arrange a meeting to discuss academic impacts, review current strategies, and develop a learning support plan.
  • Students who are BC residents can determine if financial assistance is available through Student Aid BC.
