Yes. Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) is joining Trinity Western University as its divinity school. This brings together TEDS’ long-standing legacy of theological scholarship with TWU’s faith-integrated academic community and the heritage of ACTS Seminaries. Together, these foundations support graduate theological education that is biblically grounded, academically rigorous, and shaped by Christ-centred formation—equipping students for ministry, scholarship, and leadership in service to the local and global Church.
TEDS at TWU will welcome its inaugural class on TWU’s Langley, British Columbia campus in fall 2026.
Programs are offered through a mix of online synchronous, online asynchronous, and in-person formats, depending on the program, allowing flexibility for students inside and outside Canada. In-person courses will be based at Trinity Western University’s Langley campus starting in fall 2026.

Yes. Degrees are granted by Trinity Western University, a fully accredited Canadian university. Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in North America.
Trinity Western University is a Title IV-approved institution, which means eligible US students may apply for US federal student loans if enrolled in an eligible, in-person degree program at the main Langley campus. Please note that online programs or in-person programs combined with online courses are not eligible.
Yes. US students studying in Canada will require a Canadian study permit. TWU’s International Student Services team provides guidance throughout the application and visa process.
Yes. Many TEDS programs will offer online or short in-person residencies to the TEDS site in Langley, allowing US students to complete coursework remotely, depending on the program. Please refer to individual program pages for delivery formats.

Credits from accredited institutions may be considered for transfer on a case-by-case basis, depending on the program and prior coursework.
