Kelcey Brade ('05)

Anchor/Reporter, TSN

"I owe much of my career success to TWU's Media + Communication program and Athletics department. My professors and instructors went above and beyond to help customize specific courses and practicum placements to give me every opportunity to gain valuable experience in writing for news and sports, along with hands-on sports broadcasting experience with Spartan Athletics. Overall, my time at TWU instilled the confidence I needed to seriously pursue my career dreams."

Leigh Boyle ('09 and '13)

During her communications degree, Leigh participated in SAMC travel studies to Guatemala andKenya. Her growing passion for cross-cultural leadership led her to an outreach opportunity in Ethiopia. Seeing a need and feeling called to fulfill it, Leigh re-enrolled at TWU with plans for medical school, hoping to one day return to Ethiopia and help people with conditions like obstetric fistula.

Joshua Burdick (’11)

Owner, Veritas Media Productions

After graduating, Joshua quickly distinguished himself as a leader in the film industry. He has produced an interstitial that aired on national television, shot and edited a film that won Best Short Documentary at the NWProjections film festival, and produced over 70 online courses forFaithlife’s Logos Bible Software.
