President Husbands affirmed that the Great Wall MBA program is a prime example of the global impact education can make, “The Great Wall MBA program has built a stellar reputation and vital network of relationships within China’s business community, especially in large cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin.”

“Our graduates are ambassadors of the quality of education that together, we are privileged to offer,” he said. “Their character, competence, and skill do much to advance the economic vitality of ongoing partnerships between China and Canada.”

President Husbands noted that the Great Wall MBA program marks the maturation of a 25-year relationship between Trinity Western University and the city of Tianjin. He said, “Over that time, we have witnessed the impact that global education makes in the lives of international students and the reciprocal impact students from around the world make on Canadian students.”

“Global education now plays a critical role in 21st century universities,” he said. “To develop the leaders of the future, global thinking skills and international experiences are crucial.”

TUFE’s President Liu responded, “Today, the two universities sign a new agreement from 2021 to 2025, opening a new page of cooperation. TUFE will guarantee the investment of resources in the Great Wall MBA program. I am full of confidence and expectation for the future development of the program and the cooperation between the two universities.”
