This Christmas, we invite you to pause for a moment. At times, our world feels restless—conflict, uncertainty, and anxiety can seem like they are everywhere. It was into that very kind of world, that God spoke through angels these words: ‘Do not be afraid.’
Into a world longing for peace, God sent the Prince of Peace. On a quiet night, shepherds stood under an ordinary sky when heaven suddenly broke in: “I bring you good news of great joy… A Savior has been born.” (Luke 2:10–11)
As you celebrate this season, may you find a moment to pause—like the shepherds did—and encounter the One who brings a peace that surpasses understanding.
A Musical Celebration of Peace
This Christmas, we invite you to begin by immersing yourself in a special acoustic performance inspired by the angelic proclamation in Luke 2:8–14. The featured song, Until You by Danny Gokey, beautifully captures the heart of the season—reminding us that true peace is found in Christ alone.
Stories of God's Peace from Our Community
Christmas is a time to reflect on the transformative peace Jesus brings into our lives. We asked several TWU students and staff to share their personal experiences of encountering Christ’s peace in meaningful ways. Their stories remind us that this peace is not just historical—it is alive and active today.
Watch their reflections on Instagram with the links below:
- Tunu reminds us that God provides peace, even in the busiest seasons.
- Shannon reminds us that God's peace isn't a single experience, but a gift we can receive daily.
- Grey reflects on the miracle of Christ’s long-awaited arrival and the peace and hope we can receive through Him.
From all of us at Trinity Western University, may the peace and hope of Christ fill your hearts this Christmas season.
