Trinity Western University extends its deepest condolences to the community of Milligan University, a Christian liberal arts university in Tennessee, following the tragic deaths of two members of its cycling team. We grieve with their families, friends, teammates, and the entire Milligan community, and we pray for those who were injured and are receiving care.
TWU President Todd Martin expressed his sympathy: “President Stephen Waers has been a valued colleague since we participated together in the CCCU New Presidents Institute. I have appreciated his thoughtful leadership, commitment to Christian higher education, and genuine care for the community he serves. Our prayers are with President Waers and the entire Milligan community as they grieve this profound loss.”
