External Relations Leadership Transition

During an unparalleled season of tremendous innovation and reinvention—as we work diligently to reimagine a vital, multi-access, global, Christian University for Fall 2020—we announce a transition within our senior leadership team. Scott Fehrenbacher, Senior Vice President of External Relations, has resigned his role at Trinity Western University.

Commenting upon Mr. Fehrenbacher’s transition, President Mark Husbands states: “We are grateful for Scott’s years of service and contribution to the University. Scott is a talented, godly, and visionary leader who enriched the student experience.”

In over four years spent at TWU, Scott Fehrenbacher spearheaded innovative recruitment strategies and pioneered effective ways to build relationships with external partners and constituencies. Among his notable achievements are several key initiatives within Fort Langley, including, the Spartan Club and the creation and development of the Trinity Western House.

Mr. Fehrenbacher will be leaving TWU to join Primacorp Ventures, where he will serve Dr. Peter Chung—a friend of the University and former TWU Board of Governors member (2014-16)—as a special advisor to the chairman.

Over the past several months, Trinity Western University has been rapidly innovating to ensure that the University is prepared to welcome a significant cohort of students this fall. We are committed to providing every student with safe access to a transformative Trinity Western education regardless of the student’s global location or time zone. As we advance the mission and development of the University, we remain grateful for the talented and dedicated faculty, staff, community, and friends of Trinity who continue to serve Christ with distinction.
