Trinity Western University School of Education Open House: dessert bar, live music, and tours of new classroom spaces in DeVries Centre

Come to a place where you can learn how to make a difference in the lives of others through teaching.

Trinity Western University’s School of Education offers teacher training at the undergraduate and graduate levels, equipping current and aspiring teachers for lives of meaningful impact in schools and communities in B.C. and beyond.

On Nov. 10, the School of Education is hosting an open house at its new location in the DeVries Centre, a freshly renovated space that provides double the previous classroom capacity. Open house guests can enjoy a dessert bar and live music, tour the brand-new space, and meet TWU alumni and professors.

TWU’s School of Education Open House is on Nov. 10, 3:30–4:30 p.m. The location is DeVries Centre at Trinity Western University (22500 University Drive, Langley). Please register on Eventbrite to attend.

TWU

TWU’s School of Education is the only faith-based teacher education program in the province. Since 2001, it has established a strong reputation for providing undergraduate and professional year programs (PYP). Moreover, the numbers of TWU education graduates have recently doubled. This past spring, nearly the entire cohort of education majors secured job placements prior to graduation.

New graduate certificate programs in Christian School Education and Outdoor Environmental Education provide more options for teachers to upgrade their training.

Just this past weekend at TWU’s fall graduation ceremony on Nov. 5 (honouring graduands of TWU GLOBAL and TWU’s graduate programs), the university celebrated two graduands from the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership program and seven graduands from the Master of Arts in Educational Studies – Special Education program.
