TWU business professor speaks on education, women and the workforce, presents ideas for employers on new ways of imagining work

Ahead of International Women's Day on March 8 — a day to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the world — Professor Andrea Soberg provides an insightful discussion on women in the workplace.

Professor Andrea Soberg from Trinity Western University joins host Shelaine Strom on an episode of Ending Poverty Together, a Food for the Hungry Canada podcast. The topic of their discussion is "What stops you from hiring a woman?"

She shares about barriers and challenges that women in particular may encounter in pursuing their careers. More than raising awareness, she offers tangible suggestions to organizations on how to start thinking differently about work.

Professor Soberg's insights inspire employers to begin designing jobs in new, creative ways — ways that will better tap into the full potential of all employees.
