TWU expands scholarship for students whose lives have been disrupted by the onset of war and conflict in their home country

Returning from Ukraine: Marko Zolotarov’s story

The tragic war in Ukraine has had a global impact, and our students at Trinity Western are not immune to its effects. In response, we have expanded our scholarship support to Trinity Western students whose lives have been disrupted by the onset of war and conflict in their home country.

TWU Scholarship for Displaced Persons

At Trinity Western University, we find joy in equipping students to launch well into future careers and graduate school.

We know that the war in Ukraine has impacted the lives of our students. In light of this and other global conflicts, we are expanding our scholarship support for students in need.

The TWU Scholarship for Displaced Persons exists to assist students whose lives have been disrupted and who have been displaced from their homes and countries.

Returning from Ukraine: Marko Zolotarov’s story

Marko Zolotarov is a first year TWU student from Ukraine, and he was in his home country when war first broke out earlier this year. The below interview was filmed shortly after he returned to Canada in March. May his personal experiences and reflections inspire us to reflect on our own response in the face of many global challenges.
