TWU new brand

TWU focuses on student experience and graduates’ future success with new brand promise, ‘Equipped for Life’

“The logo and branding represent a significant promise to students and their families. We believe that learning and an encounter with the truth and beauty of the triune God occur throughout the TWU experience.”

As a private Christian university with campuses in Langley, Richmond, and Ottawa, Trinity Western University welcomes students from over 80 countries. This fall, the university refocuses on student experience, renewing its commitment to equip graduates for all areas of their future in life and career.

Last year TWU adopted a new vision statement and this fall the university unveils a new look.

“The logo and branding represent a significant promise to students and their families,” said President Mark Husbands. “We believe that learning and an encounter with the truth and beauty of the triune God occur throughout the TWU experience: in the classroom, writing a lab report, gathering in a discipleship group, playing soccer, learning to care for patients, and in many other ways throughout the University.”

“The new brand emerges from the conviction that we are called to glorify God in all that we do.”

This fall semester, TWU’s enrolment is 4468, up 5.3% from the previous fall. Significant enrolment increases have been seen within TWU’s graduate studies, which includes programs such as Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts in Leadership, and Master of Science in Nursing.

In September, the university held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Robert G. Kuhn Centre, a four-storey multi-functional facility that provides students with expanded learning and community spaces. The university’s first PhD program, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing, welcomes its first cohort of students this fall, while the Executive MBA program, launched in 2021, has now expanded to both Langley and Richmond campuses.

The growth of the university in the areas of graduate programs, global student population, and renewed vision and commitment to student success, is captured within the design of Trinity Western’s new brand expression.

“The new colours, images, logo, etc., are meaningful symbols of our enduring commitment to delivering an extraordinary learning experience for all students,” President Husbands emphasized.

“We are grateful to have an expression of the Trinity Western University brand that more fully represents the tremendous value of the Christ-centred, student-focused, and globally engaged experience that we offer each year to students from over 80 countries around the world.”
