Connie Goetz, MLIS

General Librarian

Connie Goetz is a librarian and musician in the Vancouver area. She completed a Bachelors of Music with a major in Musical Arts and Flute Studies in 2022, and completed a Masters of Library and Information Studies in 2024.

As a librarian, Connie has worked in a variety of library types including public, music (or ensemble), and academic. She started working at Trinity Western University in August 2025, which is her first job within the academic sector of librarianship. Her main responsibilities include research assistance, information literacy teaching, and being the liaison librarian for the schools of Business and Leadership. Outside of her work at TWU, she continues to work at Vancouver Opera as a music librarian, with specific emphasis in music preparation.

As a musician, Connie has performed with a variety of ensembles which include the UVic Wind Symphony, UVic Vocal Jazz Ensemble, VanDeca Vocal Ensemble, Capilano Flute Choir, and TWU Masterworks. She also recently performed as the soloist of a flute concerto titled Images of the Aurora Borealis, composed by Michelle Wolfenden, with the UVic Orchestra in 2025.
