"I began teaching in the spring 2020 at TWU.  Prior to TWU, for the past twenty one years, I have worked  in various K-12 administrative positions in Alberta and BC."

Derrick has over thirty years experience working and serving in various leadership capacities in three provinces.  He has also travelled extensively, been involved in teacher training, mentored the younger generation, and participated in various mission endeavours locally and internationally.  He has served as chairman of the board of directors for the Association of Christian Schools, Western Canada for four years and is passionate about Christian Education and Servant Leadership.  He and his wife currently serve at the board leadership level at their local church in Langley.  Derrick has been happily married to his wife Debbie for 30 years and they have one son who is also attending TWU.
