Sarah Lee Charlton

Biography

Sarah was born in Busan, South Korea. As a missionary kid, she lived in San Francisco, attended a boarding school in Ooty, India for nine years, took a gap year in Pakistan, and visited Yemen several times. She arrived in Langley in 2018 where she attended Trinity Western University and graduated with a degree in psychology and a certificate in human services. She spent the following years serving in Student Life. 

At Trinity Western, Sarah works with Julian, other departments, and the Orientation Host student leaders to organize and facilitate Orientation Week. She also walks alongside Pillar and the directors of TWUSA throughout the year as their advisor. Sarah also runs the Student Life Instagram account to document the life of campus. 

Sarah enjoys many different forms of crafts, such as crocheting, knitting, sewing, Korean knotting, calligraphy. She enjoys creating something with her hands while enjoying a movie or a TV show with her husband. She also enjoys some time on her computer playing League of Legends.

Hometown: From Busan originally, but home is wherever family is.   

Favourite part of the job: Learning from different students and using her gifts to make events happen.   

Favourite TWU tradition: Student Leadership Orientation Week and Square Dance   

Enjoys: Crocheting, knitting, sewing, Korean knotting, calligraphy, tv shows, movies, Cineplex, board games (Catan), League of Legends.
