Recreation provides a wide range of fitness classes, including Taekwondo. Classes are open to anyone and require no prior experience.
Students, staff/faculty, alumni & community members are all welcome.
Students rates for fitness classes are among the lowest in the lower mainland of BC.
Staff/faculty & alumni also received discounted rates for all fitness classes.

Kaitlyn Dyke (Quick HIIT)
This class provides lots of flexibility to hit on whatever you are looking for.
- Want to concentrate on your abs then come for the first half hour of class for abs only work.
- Thinking you could use a quick 30 minutes of cardio then jump into the second half of class for some circuit training.
- If both sound good to you then stay for both!Our class instructor Kaitlyn wants to help you meet your fitness goals at whatever place you find yourself. Come out and be active even if it's only for 30 minutes!
Alexa (Bootcamp Conditioning)
Get ready for our total body conditioning class. This class is designed to increase your metabolism and lean muscle mass while burning fat and having fun!
Jin Lim (Taekwondo)
Learn martial arts through the basic skills and techniques of Taekwondo. Gain self-confidence, physical strength and relief from stress while learning self-discipline and self-defense.

Stretch and tone those muscles with our fitness class that combines the fundamental movements of the body with the applications of strength and balance. Fitness instructing professional, Emily, will help you gain better balance, mobility, flexibility, and a stronger core while you breathe and sweat through this full body workout. It is recommended that you bring your own yoga mat, water and a sweat towel to these classes.
MERIBETH (POWER YOGA)
A flow yoga for all levels, focusing on utilizing strength through flexibility. Class will be focused on various poses in yoga, working towards improvement of strength, flexibility and relaxation. Come to class with a water bottle, towel (if needed), and an attitude ready to be blessed with yoga!
