Theology & Culture (PhD)

Explore faith, culture, and leadership in a global community of scholar-practitioners.

Shape global ministry through deep theological insight and redemptive cultural engagement.

The PhD in Theology and Culture (PhD–THC) is designed for scholar-practitioners seeking to lead with wisdom, compassion, and cultural intelligence in today’s complex global landscape. With a rich integration of theology, history, and the social sciences, this program equips students to conduct original research that addresses real-world ministry challenges and cultural shifts. Through a vibrant international learning community, students grow spiritually, intellectually, and vocationally—preparing for leadership in higher education, nonprofit organizations, cross-cultural ministry, and global Church contexts. With a focus on redemptive cultural engagement, the program fosters thoughtful analysis of human flourishing, disruption, and mission, equipping graduates to respond with theological depth, practical insight, and the love of Christ.
