General
All the events are located on TWU’s Langley campus at 22500 University Drive, Langley, BC V2Y 1Y1.
There will be gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan meal options for all meals provided by TWU.
Yes! We love it when alumni bring their families to Homecoming Weekend!
We encourage you to join TWU Alumni Hub, our online alumni portal, where you can find and connect with any alumni who have registered to the platform.
Yes, parking will be complimentary for all Homecoming Weekend guests.
Whatever is comfortable for you. We suggest bringing a light jacket and dressing for the weather.
Due to open food and the scope of the event, only service animals will be allowed.
Rain or shine, this event will run as planned, so pack accordingly!
Registration
Yes. All guests will need to register for Homecoming Weekend so that we can be best prepared for you. Food is provided at certain times of the day for all registered guests. Some events also have limited space, so registered guests will receive priority.
No, you will not need to register for individual events. The general Homecoming registration will provide you access to all individual Homecoming events. Individual events that have limited seating capacity will be first come first serve. There will be no reservation option nor will there be a waitlist for individual events.

Thanks to the generosity of the TWU donor community and sponsors, all the events for Homecoming Weekend 2025 are complimentary, including breakfast and lunch on Saturday, Sept 13. Registration for Homecoming Weekend is required.
You are welcome to bring guests, subject to availability, as long as they are registered. If you have children, we encourage you to bring them to the many child-friendly events offered throughout Homecoming Weekend.
Travel & Accommodations
Yes! We have established discounts for alumni and their families for Homecoming Weekend.
Hotels & Car Rentals
- You may need to show your digital alumni card upon check-in. If you don’t yet have one, you can request your digital alumni card online.
- A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Sandman Signature Hotel for our guests at a discounted rate. To book online, select "Promo Code" and enter 2509TWUHC under "Web Group Code"; or use the direct links below (discount already applied):
- For car rentals, we have an alumni discount at Enterprise & National Car Rental. Enter the account number SMBABEC.
Flights
- Please visit Westjet's convention travel page to make a booking online. Use coupon code: Guest web/Travel Agent web – 8Z4T5IY.
- Applicable flight booking rules:
- The booking is to be made to one of the following cities: Vancouver or Abbotsford.
- The travel period ends by 12/14/2025.
- No discount will apply to Basic or Business Class bookings.
Our on-campus accommodations are full throughout the fall and spring semester, so you will be unable to book on campus.
