Admission Requirements

Qualified applicants who wish to apply may begin anytime to send the following documents and information to admissions@twu.ca:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
• Two references: 1) pastoral 2) character. All references must be written by persons who know you well and can confidently speak of your character.
• A TOEFL score of 90 (or 5.0) or IELTS score of 6.5 (if applicable)
• A Duolingo score of 130 overall
• A personal statement (500–800 words) and a ministry goal statement (300–500 words)

Application Deadlines

There are rolling admission dates throughout the year. The deadline for domestic applications is one month prior to each start date of the three semesters each academic year.  

Requirements for International Students

Successful applicants for the program in English will demonstrate English language proficiency at a graduate level of analysis and thinking. Please see the Graduate Studies International Applicants page for a list of organizations that can provide an evaluation.
