Admission Requirements

Qualified applicants who wish to apply may begin anytime to send the following documents and information to admissions@twu.ca:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Two references: 1) pastoral 2) character. All references must be written by persons who know you well and can confidently speak of your character.
  • A TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS score of 6.5 (if applicable).
  • A personal statement (500–800 words) and a ministry goal statement (300–500 words).

Application Deadlines

There are rolling admission dates throughout the year. The deadline for domestic applications is one month prior to each start date of the three semesters each academic year.  

Requirements for International Students

Successful applicants for the program in English will demonstrate English language proficiency at a graduate level of analysis and thinking. Please see the graduate studies international applicants webpage for a list of organizations that can provide an evaluation. This page also provides a range of helpful information regarding studying in Canada as an international student (for all international applicants).

Finances

The standard tuition rate for the MA in Christian Ministries is $750 per semester hour. Scholarships are available for an average of 25% off total domestic tuition, with a sample scholarship rate of $563 per semester hour. Additional scholarships and financial aid offerings will be available. Our Financial Aid team will work with you to explore available options and create a personalized financial aid plan.
