Habitat for Humanity
Specifically designed for graduate TWU students, this is an amazing opportunity to travel and volunteer with practical skills for 1-2 weeks. Work with an incredible team alongside Habitat for Humanity (HFH), a non-profit organization that partners with cities to break the cycle of poverty. Serve and learn alongside them helping in their mission of building affordable housing for low-income families, bringing them hope for a brighter future.
Teams will travel to a North American city to do practical volunteer work with HFH including painting, landscaping, minor construction, and more all under the guidance of a trained supervisor. All of this is in the midst of a deep community as you get to know your team, serve together, and build great friendships.
Trips typically happen during the month of May and are connected to our Global Outreach program. For more information, follow our parent account on Instagram @twuglobaloutreach or email globaloutreach@twu.ca.
