Experience what it’s like to think, build, and act like a founder.

Join these hands-on events where participants experience the early stages of building a startup through collaboration, problem-solving, and pitching. 

Participants will:

• Hear from local founders and entrepreneurs who will share their startup journeys and lessons learned
• Network with students, professionals, and community members
• Work in teams to develop and validate a business idea
• Present their ideas and receive founder and mentor feedback 

This event is: 

• Interactive and workshop based
• Designed for aspiring entrepreneurs
• Open to anyone interested in exploring the startup ecosystem 

EMBARK (TWU's venture incubator) is hosting two Startup Experience events, one in Langley and the other in Richmond, giving students across TWU an opportunity to attend one or both events.

These events are also open to community members, alumni, staff, and faculty.

All participants are asked to register to confirm their attendance.

About EMBARK

Launched in January 2025 across TWU's Langley and Richmond campuses, the program serves as a startup incubator and accelerator. It is designed to offer student internships, help early-stage founders validate business ideas, and build ethical, faith-informed, and purpose-driven businesses.
