Trinity Western University launches its new strategic plan – TWU 2030: Every Graduate Equipped

Trinity Western University announces the launch of its new Strategic Plan, TWU 2030: Every Graduate Equipped

Since establishing an ambitious vision statement, Trinity Western has embarked on a university-wide strategic planning process, inviting constituents from across the University to participate in helping to reimagine TWU’s future as a global Christian University.

Following 14 months of diligent work by a diverse set of contributors—together with input from undergraduate and graduate students, alumni, parents, and friends of the University—Trinity Western is ready to unveil its new Strategic Plan, TWU 2030: Every Graduate Equipped

"There can be no higher calling for a deeply Christian academic community than the flourishing of its graduates," President Mark Husbands expressed in a letter to the community. "Together, we can embrace the integration of faith and learning as a catalyst for renewal in a fragmented world."

"Our new strategic plan is fundamentally generative," he continues. "It relies upon our very best efforts and commitment to foster collaborative, interdisciplinary, student-focused learning and success."

"This plan to advance the University’s calling to be a Christ-centered, student-focused, innovative, and financially strong institution is the product of extensive community engagement," Fred Fleming, Chair of the Board of Governors comments, "I am deeply grateful to the faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, friends, and supporters who participated in the envisioning and planning of TWU’s strategic direction."

Trinity Western's strategic plan centres around four priorities to guide the University in fulfilling its vision:

  • Priority 1 – Advance Christ-Centred Learning & Culture
  • Priority 2 – Cultivate Master Learners
  • Priority 3 – Accelerate Academic Innovation
  • Priority 4 – Demonstrate Operational Excellence
