Biography

What was your first job after university?

Intake worker for a youth services agency, taking calls from children and families in crisis and sending out teams of counsellors called a "mobile crisis team"

What is one of your most memorable experiential learning opportunities?

The high ropes course at TWU during my MA Leadership degree - needing to work together as a team in new and terrifying ways!

What is a new competency you are working towards?

Planning and organizing. Creating priorities and objectives into tasks and timelines. Identifying Key Performance Indicators that empower everyone to achieve objectives and know what success looks like.

What career advice has been the most helpful for you?

Stay curious. Ask good questions. Make connections. Try new things.
